YOUR SAFETY ~ READ THIS BEFORE YOU TRAVEL

At Best Dancers we are always striving to keep an eye on what's abuzz at the clubs we are promoting. We want you to have a good time at the clubs & make money, but we also want you to be safe during your travels. Safety is number one for everyone.

Of course we also know you like to party when you travel, some of you, but sometimes I think few of you aren't reading the fine print. It can be a fine line sometimes between work & partying, but there are some basic rules of thumb on saftey that we ask all dancers to take notice of;

- Do not leave with customers- dont go with them outside of the club. You never know who they are or what they are capable of. Bad guys dont come across as bad guys, they are nice to you at first as that is how they are able to gain your trust in order to harm you. DO NOT trust anyone- even if you have known them a couple of days/weeks/months- even if they seem nice to you at work.

- Keep your relationship with customers & staff at work- don't take it outside of the club.

- Use the same caution with staff from the clubs as you do with the customers- just because you work together it doesnt necessarily mean people can be trusted. Some may seem like nice people (and most are), but it doesnt mean its safe to go home with staff to their place, nor should you bring them into dancer housing.

-You are putting yourself & the other girls at great risk when you bring any man into dancers housing.

- We normally ask that you NOT DO DRUGS for a reason. If you must do drugs then do them at your own house before you travel or else when you get home; NOT at work, NOT while travelling, NOT with STAFF, NOT with customers, and NEVER bring drugs to work and/or into dancer housing!!!

- And what happens if you get busted at work or in dancer housing with drugs on you? Not only you, but everyone else will suffer for your crime. It's not a game & you shouldn't take chances with other people's livelihood.

- Here's a scary thought; when you purchase drugs from strangers or club staff you do not know if what you are buying isnt actually a date rape drug. You will only get one chance to find out & by then its going to be too late!

- Everyone seems like theyre your best friend after a few cocktails life seems like one big fat beer commercial when youre drunk or high. On T.V. that high only lasts a couple of minutes- in real life circumstances can change quickly & next thing you know you're falling over drunk & slobbering (they don't show that on the beer commercials now do they!!) Too much alcohol impairs your judgement. Its best you just go back to the accommodations if youve had too much to drink. Take a taxi or ask another female to walk with you. Dont roam around the streets & clubs alone, and dont hook up with any old schnook you meet around town who claims hell take care of you!

- Stay out of AFTER HOURS BARS!! You just spent all day and/or night in the bar so do you really need to go to another one???!!! After hours are full of seedy people waiting to take advantage of you in a drunken and/or high state. This is the worst place to buy drugs and a full-on a recipe for something bad to happen to you!!

- And lastly before you travel- please always bring emergency numbers with you on your travels. Look up the local police, fire, ambulance & embassy or consulate. Have the club manager numbers handy with you at all times. Keep a photocopy of your passport or ID in a safe place aside from your passport; photocopy another copy of your plane ticket & keep that separate & in a safe place as well. If you are in a bind & need a call made for you, simply leave Janet a message with the name & number of whom you need to reach - leave a message for her & she will try to contact the person for you.

So go & have a good time while you travel. If you adhere to these simple rules you will increase your chances of staying safe.
